SMI ASEA in Indonesia breaks new ground with Central - Sevilla International Schools

Yesterday, at a Press Conference in Balai Kartini, Central - Sevilla International Schools announced the use of Success Motivation Institute's programs as its character building program. The event was presented by CEO Garudafood (owner of the schools).
The Press Conference was attended by the Wife of Cak Nur, Vice Minister of National Education of Republic of Indonesia ; Mr. Faziz Jalal, Ex-Minister; Mr. Sofjan Jalil; Mr. Sudhamek AWS - CEO Garudafood; Mr. Robertus Budi Setiono - COO Central and Sevilla International Schools; and General Director for South East Asia for SMI, Inc.
The event was covered by major media and TV stations.

The press conference was followed by an education seminar presented by Honorary Guest Speakers: Vice Minister of National Education, the Representative from US Commerce - American Embassy in Jakarta Mrs. Vivian Krange, and Mr. Sudhamek AWS.
The schools have imbedded the SMI programs: I am Special Person, Growing Up is Fun, Making of Champion, Attitude is Everything, and Achieving Academic Success into their day to day curriculum for children age 3 to 17 or from Pre-K to Senior High Schools. SMI has trained the local teachers to conduct SMI programs and certifying them. Each student will own his/ her individual program that will be used every day. Parents are involved every week to get maximum results.

Ferry Salim, the famous Indonesian presenter and actor who was the M.C. and is also a parent in Sevilla told JakTV that one of his reasons for moving his child to enroll at Sevilla was because the school had allowed the children character building programs to be embedded in the school’s curricula. He wassure SMI program would deliver character building for the children.
These schools are the first schools in the world to make SMI program as their part of curricula.
